About Jens Wawrauschek
Jens Wawrauschek began his journey into equestrian sports at the age of 5 with a playful Shetland pony named Mäxchen. On his sixth birthday he got a sulky to ride around on. He started competing at the age of twelve and won his first junior show jumping competition at fourteen. Two years later he competed in his first advanced level show jumping competitions. After graduating from high school in 2002, riding took center stage: "I worked for two years at Gestüt Wäldershausen with Lars Nieberg. After that, I trained as an event manager at EN GARDE Marketing GmbH and studied business administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Bremerhaven.
But the call of horses and show jumping never left me. In 2010 I was given the opportunity to work as a rider in the stables of Paul Schockemöhle. This was followed by stints at Holger Hetzel's and Hans Horn's stables in the Netherlands. These experiences shaped me and gave me valuable insights into the training of international show jumpers and ambitious riders. It also taught me how important it is to find the perfect match between rider and horse - for harmony and success in show jumping.
Jens Wawrauschek stands for years of experience, passion and the ability to bring rider and horse together.
